Join us at the Rose Garden for a drum circle to celebrate International Day of Peace on September 21 at 5:30 pm. This event is free to the public.
A community drum circle is a collaborative musical event created by all the individuals who participate. When we drum together as a community, sharing our spirit in the form of rhythm, it positively changes our relationships. As we play, we share a rhythmical embrace. The release and healing of emotions is different for every person in the circle, and it happens whether we are physically engaged in the drumming, or standing among the crowd, clapping to the beat. To make beautiful music together with rhythmical instruments, all we must do is interact with our fellow neighbors, share our excitement, and let the power of the rhythm unite us as one.
